This is a wonderfully written work with the love of the Lord at its center. I found “Divine Detours” to be so relatable, inspiring and well-written. I found it to be exactly where I’ve been, having just experienced a divine detour of my own. Thoroughly enjoyed this book of adventures - such an interesting and easy read… and so encouraging! It’s comforting to know that all of the little things - when added up - become a volume of God’s providence. No matter how small (or large!) these encounters are huge to Him, and build something in us and in His Kingdom that no one could imagine! This book beautifully illustrates how God uses each event of obedience to build a magnificent testimony of faithfulness that we can clearly see (often times in hindsight). Highly Recommend

It is an absolute honor to write the foreword for Divine Detours: Embracing Life’s Unexpected Pathways with Faith, Humor, and Purpose, a remarkable book from an author whose journey I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand. My name is Dr. Janis Modeste, founder of the No Limits Women’s Conference, an annual gathering that has empowered women for nearly fifteen years. It was at this very conference in Clermont, Florida, that Gail and I first met. From the moment she walked through those doors, I could sense that God was preparing her for something greater. Since then, I have watched her transformation unfold. First, as an engineer with a calling to serve, and now as an author and entrepreneur using her voice to impact lives around the world.
When I finished reading Divine Detours, I knew this was a message the world needed to hear. The way Gail shares her journey, with honesty, courage, and a touch of humor. This reminds us that faith is not only for mountaintop moments but also for the winding roads in between. Her story is a powerful testament that if God can turn her disruptions into divine direction, He can do the same for you. I have seen how she faithfully serves her local church, mentors others in her field of engineering, and continues to walk out her purpose with grace.
